We meet with you there to test things out and see what suits.

Especially with today’s standard variety of technical devices and paging systems as well as the understandable desire to meet our own basic needs independently, it’s important for us to discuss your goals and wants with you right from the start and identify possible solutions based on these. Our wide range of demo devices can help to indicate the right direction here.

What is our approach?

We meet with you—of course with your family and therapists present if you wish— to assess your individual living situation and lifestyle and discuss which functions could be integrated and how your basic needs could be met. Why is that important to us? Because we want to give you the best possible support and provide you with an aid that will help you to meet your basic needs.

Some of the questions we look to answer with you include: !!!

• Where do you want to use your device? At home or also on the go?
• Which devices should be controlled?
• What care and support arrangements are in place?
• Who should be able to operate the device?
• In your opinion, how good are your current motor and cognitive skills?
• How might your illness be expected to progress?
• Might it therefore be necessary to adapt your controls?

Of course, we will also find a way to integrate your existing aids, such as communication devices, into the system in your living environment. 

Having tested the equipment together, we will discuss the next steps with you, your family, and, if necessary, your therapists and also support you if you have questions about getting approvals from your health insurance company. But even after your environmental controls are successfully in use, we will still be there with your healthcare provider to support you and will be happy to provide our expert advice if you have any questions or issues or wish to add features.
